An account of the authors’ trek to Everest in 1977 who despite ill health and nearly killing herself falling down a mountain after too much Irish whiskey and chang the local brew, succeeded in her quest. Trudging through a blinding blizzard she climbed Kalapatar at over 18000 feet, higher than second camp on Everest. So watch out Hillary and Bonington for here she comes!
