SIMLA & HIMACHAL PRADESH Burial Records 1829-1945 CD

A collection of about 4244 burial records transcribed from surveys and burial records found in Simla, the summer capital of British India. When the heat reached unbearable temperatures the British and their government migrated to the hills from Calcutta in pursuit of more temperate climes. Surrounding Simla in the neighbouring hills were other hill stations which were homes to several military cantonments their graveyards have been included.
